pretty stunning to witness LA unravel like that. It's going to be an interesting (and possibly series-deciding) first game back at Staples.

Edit: personally I doubt it, but you have to wonder if there is a possibility Jones gets the next start

Out of my almost 20 years watching the kings and a lot of playoff games I have never seen such an awful 2 games before by ANY nhl team in the PO. An embarrassing performance by LA past 2 games. SJ dominated both games and likely the series by just handing it to the kings.

Any team but Anaheim winning the cup this year is ok with me including SJ and they're a close 2nd on my poop list behind the Ducks.

I guess my only hope as a Kings fan is that they are embarrassed enough to put up a fight and force this series to go at least 5 games.

I think Buffalo would have played the Sharks harder in these 2 games.

Even though I hate San Jose with a passion, I will tip my hat to them for showing up with a vengeance and playing great hockey.

Ouch. Well. Considering we handled the Sharks both times this season, I would assume we'd definitely make it more entertaining to say the least. Ask the Sharks how well they've done in Buffalo past like..10 years.

Last few years they have played more post season games then any team. Yes, I guess that qualifies as pretenders. Please let me know when the guppies finally accomplished anything? Yeah, I accept the Kings got there asses whooped. Good job for the Sharks to show up. The Kings are lost skating around trying to figure out what the sharks are doing. That's all good. Do I think it will be the same Tuesday? Maybe. But what the Kings have accomplished in the last couple years and are built to continue to tops in the west. This was my pre-series prediction and I'm going to wear it regardless.

Classy to think there will be a game 5. If game 3 is anything less than a +3 win, game 5 might be the wrapper. I'm aware that last change is a big deal, but I've never seen it be this big of a deal. Total cup check time for this team and a truer test of character for Sutter. What's he going to do with this team right now??? Brown and Richards have been dead weight all season, but the team was good enough to win 6 of 10 games while pulling them along, but not in the playoffs. It's catching up hard and fast with the team. The top line isn't possessing the puck and Gaborik is taking more hits than a bong on 420, he looks scared. Add to this that the Sharks are sniping the top shelf, Quick's achilles heal, with regularity. It's been tough to watch, but 2012 has made it bearable.

GKG to the end, no matter how soon that is.
